About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Aviation Safety Manager to lead their safety initiatives on a fully remote basis. This critical role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety management systems (SMS) to ensure the highest standards of safety across all aviation operations. You will be responsible for risk assessment, incident investigation, safety promotion, and compliance with aviation safety regulations, working independently from your remote location. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified hazards.
• Lead and manage aviation incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Monitor aviation safety regulations and ensure company compliance.
• Prepare and present safety performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in aviation safety management, preferably in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety principles, regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA), and SMS frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct effective incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant aviation safety certifications or degrees are essential.
