About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Remote Aviation Software Developer to join their innovative product development team. Working entirely remotely, you will design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that enhance aviation operations, safety, and efficiency. This role involves contributing to complex projects, such as flight planning systems, maintenance tracking software, or data analytics platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, robust software that meets the stringent demands of the aviation industry, all within a fully remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and maintain high-quality software applications for the aviation sector.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define software requirements and user stories.
• Develop efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong portfolio of developed applications.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to aviation software (e.g., Java, C++, Python, C#).
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective remote team collaboration.
