Remote BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy Remote BIM Coordinator to lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling processes across their construction projects. This fully remote position allows you to contribute from any location, focusing on enhancing project collaboration, efficiency, and data management. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing BIM standards, coordinating models, and ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards , protocols, and workflows for all projects.
• Coordinate and manage the creation and integration of BIM models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Conduct regular model audits and clash detection, identifying and resolving issues to prevent construction problems.
• Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and processes.
• Ensure adherence to project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and data requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication among project stakeholders through the BIM platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager, preferably within the construction sector.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a virtual environment.
• Experience with developing and delivering BIM training is a plus.
