Remote Catering Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Remote Catering Coordinator to manage and streamline their catering operations from a distance. You will be instrumental in liaising with clients, coordinating with external catering partners, and ensuring the smooth delivery of catering services for various events and meetings. This role requires exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills, enabling you to manage logistics and client expectations effectively without being physically present at every event location. You will be the central point of contact for all catering-related inquiries and arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries regarding catering services, providing prompt and professional responses.
• Coordinate with approved catering vendors , negotiating services, confirming bookings, and managing schedules.
• Develop detailed catering plans for events, including menu selection, dietary requirements, delivery times, and setup instructions.
• Manage vendor invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records for all catering operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the catering process, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of vendors, client preferences, and event details for efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning , coordination, or a similar administrative role, preferably within the catering or hospitality sector.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote client and vendor interaction.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication tools, project management software, and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and with a high degree of accuracy.
• A good understanding of catering principles and practices is advantageous.
