Remote Catering Event Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Remote Catering Event Coordinator to join their expanding virtual events team, based remotely but serving clients across the Birmingham area and beyond. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing the logistical and culinary aspects of their events from conception to completion. This role requires exceptional planning skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in a virtual or hybrid event landscape. You'll work closely with a remote culinary team and logistics partners to ensure flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all details for catered events, including client consultations, menu selection, and dietary requirement management.
• Liaise with remote chefs, kitchen staff, and delivery partners to ensure timely and accurate preparation and distribution of catering.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and process invoices related to catering services.
• Develop event schedules, timelines, and run sheets to ensure smooth operation on the day of the event.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during event planning or execution.
• Maintain strong client relationships, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or a similar role within the catering industry .
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency in using event management software, CRM systems, and standard office productivity suites.
