About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Remote Catering Operations Coordinator to manage and streamline their catering processes from home. This vital role involves coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the seamless planning and execution of catering services for various events. You will be the central point of contact for operational logistics, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently and effectively, regardless of physical location, and contributing to a high-quality client experience across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of catering events, including scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery management.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event planning process.
• Liaise with suppliers to procure necessary ingredients and equipment, negotiating favourable terms.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, menus, and client communications using company systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise remotely to ensure event success.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Operations Coordination , logistics, or event planning, ideally within the catering or hospitality sector.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including scheduling tools and CRM systems.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and proactively from a remote setting.
