Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Catering Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their catering services from a virtual standpoint, primarily supporting operations in the Reading area and beyond. This critical role involves strategic planning, performance management, and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple catering sites without direct physical supervision. You will leverage technology and strong communication skills to lead and motivate remote teams, drive continuous improvement, and maintain exceptional service standards. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to enhance catering operational efficiency and profitability.
Manage remote catering teams, providing leadership, support, and performance feedback.

Ensure compliance with all food safety , health, and regulatory standards across all sites.
Utilize data analytics and reporting to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements.

Requirements

Proven experience in operations management , preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams effectively.
Strong understanding of catering operations, supply chain, and food safety protocols.
Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and management software.
