About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Catering Operations Specialist to join their team, working entirely from home. You will focus on developing and implementing best practices, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing remote support to operational teams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of catering operations.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key food and beverage suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery.
• Oversee inventory management systems and ensure accurate stock levels and minimal wastage across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations remotely, conducting virtual audits as needed.
• Provide remote technical and operational support to on-site catering teams, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in catering operations management, logistics, or a similar operational role.
• Strong understanding of the catering industry, including food safety standards and supply chain management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement strategic improvements.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
