Remote Chemical Process Development Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Chemical Process Development Engineer to join their innovative team, working entirely remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize novel chemical processes for new product introductions and existing product enhancements.
• Conduct laboratory-scale experiments, pilot studies, and scale-up activities, meticulously documenting findings.
• Perform rigorous process safety analyses, including HAZOP studies, to ensure inherent safety in process designs.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance) via virtual communication tools.
• Analyze process data, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and recommendations for process implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in chemical process development, scale-up, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and communicate proactively in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
