About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of online mental health services, is seeking a highly qualified and empathetic Child Psychologist to join their fully remote team. You will provide comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents through secure telehealth platforms. This role is crucial in expanding access to mental health support for young people, enabling them to receive expert care from the comfort of their own homes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, utilising innovative digital tools to deliver evidence-based treatment plans. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and play therapy, via secure video conferencing.
- Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers on managing children's behavioural and emotional challenges.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with professional standards and data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Child Psychology or a related field.
- Active license to practice psychology in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Proven experience in assessing and treating children and adolescents with various psychological disorders.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital record-keeping systems.
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills, with a strong commitment to ethical practice.
