About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and knowledgeable Remote Childcare Compliance Specialist to join their growing team, supporting childcare providers remotely in and around Oxford . This position is vital for ensuring that all childcare settings within the network adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, conducting virtual checks, and providing expert guidance to childcare providers on all aspects of compliance. This fully remote role demands a proactive individual with a thorough understanding of childcare legislation and a strong ability to work independently while ensuring consistent service delivery from a home-based office.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process applications, registrations, and compliance documentation for childcare providers remotely.
• Conduct virtual assessments and audits of childcare settings to ensure adherence to national standards and legal requirements.
• Provide remote expert advice and support to childcare providers on safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of provider compliance, including audit findings and action plans.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from providers regarding compliance matters, offering clear and actionable guidance.
• Stay abreast of all relevant legislation, policy changes, and best practices in the childcare sector.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field (e.g., Level 3 or above).
• Proven experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory role within the childcare sector.
• In-depth knowledge of UK childcare regulations, including safeguarding and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in using virtual communication tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote working environment.
