Remote Childcare Consultant

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Remote Childcare Consultant to provide expert advice and support to parents and childcare providers via digital platforms. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your extensive background in early childhood education to offer guidance on curriculum development, Ofsted compliance, operational best practices, and parental engagement strategies. This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated professional to work from anywhere, contributing to the improvement of childcare standards across the country and impacting families directly through online consultations and resource development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual consultancy services to parents and childcare settings on a range of topics, including curriculum design and early learning methodologies.
• Develop and deliver online training materials and workshops for childcare professionals.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, including Ofsted standards and safeguarding procedures, for nurseries and childminders.
• Create engaging digital content, such as guides, webinars, and articles, to support best practices in childcare.
• Conduct remote assessments and provide actionable feedback to improve service quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and developments in the early years sector.

Requirements

• A minimum Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for the Early Years Sector or equivalent.
• Significant experience in senior leadership roles within the childcare sector (e.g., Nursery Manager, Quality Assurance Manager).
• Expert knowledge of the EYFS framework, Ofsted inspection processes, and safeguarding legislation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
