Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on current and proposed childcare policies, legislation, and funding models.

• Prepare concise and persuasive policy briefs, reports, and presentations for stakeholders, including government officials and sector leaders.

Requirements

• A postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Social Policy, Education, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy analysis, research, or advocacy, preferably within the childcare or social services sector.
• Strong understanding of the UK childcare framework, including specific regulations in Scotland.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and report-writing skills.
