Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply computational models to analyze complex biological systems, integrating multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics).
- Design and implement algorithms for network analysis, pathway modeling, and simulation of biological processes.
- Collaborate with experimental biologists to interpret results, formulate hypotheses, and guide future research directions.
- Develop robust, reproducible, and well-documented computational pipelines and software tools.
- Contribute to the generation of publications and presentations detailing research findings.
- Stay current with advancements in systems biology, computational biology, and relevant statistical methodologies.
Requirements
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in computational biology research, with a strong emphasis on systems-level analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant bioinformatics and statistical packages.
- Solid understanding of biological pathways, network analysis, and mathematical modeling techniques.
- Experience with handling and analyzing large biological datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote , collaborative environment.
