Remote Construction Bid Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Remote Construction Bid Manager to lead their tendering and bid preparation efforts. This is a fully remote position, requiring you to work from home while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders across various locations. You will be responsible for developing compelling and competitive bids for construction projects, ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, and persuasive. The role demands excellent commercial acumen, strong leadership, and exceptional writing and presentation skills, all managed remotely to support projects potentially involving Oxford and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bid process for construction projects, from pre-qualification to final submission.
• Develop win strategies and value propositions for bids.
• Coordinate input from various departments, including technical, commercial, and legal teams.
• Write, edit, and review bid documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manage bid timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager or in a senior bid role within the construction sector.
• Deep understanding of construction project lifecycles and tendering processes.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in bid management tools and MS Office Suite.
