Remote Construction Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Construction Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning and scheduling of diverse construction projects, regardless of their physical location. You will be responsible for developing detailed project timelines, identifying critical path activities, and forecasting resource needs, all while working autonomously from your home office. This position is ideal for a meticulous planner who thrives in a remote environment and possesses a deep understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycles. You will play a key role in enabling efficient project delivery across the company's portfolio, contributing vital strategic foresight from your remote base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive construction project schedules using industry-standard software.
• Analyse project scopes to identify critical path activities, dependencies, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams (remotely) to gather information and refine schedules.
• Prepare reports on project progress, resource allocation, and schedule forecasts for stakeholders.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and provide input on sequencing and logistical planning.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to ensure effective communication and collaboration in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler, preferably with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 , Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Understanding of construction processes, techniques, and terminology.
