Remote Construction Project Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support their project management teams. In this fully remote position, you will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth execution of construction projects by managing documentation, coordinating communications, and assisting with administrative tasks. You will act as a key liaison between project managers, site teams, clients, and suppliers, ensuring information flows efficiently and deadlines are met. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing significant exposure to a wide range of construction projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports.
• Coordinate communication between project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues, and escalate them to the project manager.
• Manage project-related administrative tasks, such as procurement support and invoice processing.
• Maintain project databases and filing systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
• Support the implementation of project management software and tools.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project) and standard office suites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus.
