Remote Construction Project Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Construction Project Coordinator to provide essential support to project management teams, working entirely from home. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects by managing documentation, schedules, and communication channels. This position requires excellent administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual environment. You will be instrumental in keeping projects on track and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned, supporting projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize all project documentation, including contracts, permits, blueprints, and correspondence.
• Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring timely dissemination of information.
• Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, and other administrative documents.
• Maintain project databases and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of project information.
• Support the procurement process by coordinating with vendors and tracking material orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
