About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support their project teams across various UK locations, including Edinburgh . This role is fully remote and offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in providing crucial administrative and logistical support to project managers, ensuring the smooth progression of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a virtual environment, contributing significantly to project success without direct on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to project managers for various construction projects.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
- Assist with procurement processes, including raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers via email, phone, and video conferencing.
- Monitor project timelines and deadlines, flagging any potential issues or delays to the project team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
