Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on all matters related to data protection and privacy laws globally.
• Develop, implement, and update comprehensive data protection policies and procedures.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage and respond to data subject access requests and regulatory inquiries.
• Advise on cross-border data transfers and international privacy compliance.
• Lead investigations and manage responses to data breach incidents effectively.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with significant experience in data protection law .
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other international privacy regulations.
• Experience in advising on technology and data privacy issues in a commercial context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a virtual environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload remotely.
