Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily delivery routes for a fleet of drivers, optimising for efficiency and punctuality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support, addressing queries, and resolving on-road issues in real-time.
• Utilise logistics software and tracking systems to monitor delivery progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status, potential delays, and special requests.
• Analyse delivery performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of driver performance, delivery times, and operational costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or a similar coordination role within the transportation industry .
• Strong understanding of UK geography and delivery route optimisation principles.
