About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Delivery Driver to join their dynamic team, focusing on coordinating and optimizing delivery routes from a remote location. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services, leveraging advanced logistics software and communication tools to manage a fleet of drivers. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and optimize delivery routes for a fleet of drivers across various regions using routing software.
• Monitor driver progress, vehicle status, and delivery times in real-time, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve queries.
• Utilize dispatch and tracking systems to maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and driver performance.
• Implement and enforce company policies and safety regulations for all drivers operating under your remote supervision.
• Analyze delivery data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for route improvement and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or a similar role within the transportation industry .
• Proficiency with route optimization and fleet management software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment .
• Strong understanding of UK road networks and delivery regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
