About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and creative Remote Digital Learning Specialist to drive innovation in online education from anywhere in the world. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing engaging digital learning experiences that meet the needs of our diverse student body. You will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and technology teams to create state-of-the-art educational content and resources. As a key member of the digital learning team, you will leverage your expertise in instructional design, educational technology, and online pedagogy to enhance learning outcomes and ensure a seamless, effective digital education for all participants, contributing to our mission of accessible and high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and curate high-quality digital learning materials, including e-learning modules, video tutorials, interactive simulations, and online assessments.
• Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to translate course content into engaging and effective online learning experiences.
• Implement and manage courses on various Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital learning and recommend their adoption where appropriate to enhance pedagogical strategies.
• Provide technical and pedagogical support to instructors and learners using digital learning platforms and tools.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives through data analysis and user feedback, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in instructional design and the development of online learning content, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital learning projects.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard).
• Solid understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and online pedagogy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
