About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Drug Safety Physician to provide expert medical oversight for their global pharmacovigilance activities. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your medical expertise from anywhere, contributing significantly to ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products worldwide. You will be instrumental in assessing safety data, developing risk management plans, and providing medical input for regulatory submissions. Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessment of adverse event reports and safety data.
• Develop and implement drug safety strategies, including risk management plans.
• Contribute medical expertise to the preparation of regulatory safety documents (e.g., DSURs, PBRERs).
• Collaborate with global safety teams, clinical development, and regulatory affairs.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal and external stakeholders regarding product safety.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (M.D. or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements for drug safety and risk management.
• Excellent medical judgment and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
