Remote E-commerce Assistant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Remote E-commerce Assistant to join their online retail team, operating from home in or near Belfast . You will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of their e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience for customers. This includes updating product listings, managing online orders, and providing essential support to the online sales function. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent digital literacy, with a strong understanding of online retail dynamics and the ability to work effectively in a remote capacity, contributing to the growth of their digital storefront.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain product information, images, and pricing on the e-commerce website.
• Process and manage online customer orders from placement through to fulfillment.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and live chat, providing timely and accurate support.
• Assist with the coordination of online marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Monitor website performance and identify any technical issues or user experience problems.
• Support the inventory management team by tracking stock levels and flagging discrepancies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an e-commerce or online retail support role is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional tone.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and MS Office Suite.
