Remote Early Years Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Remote Early Years Consultant to provide expert advice and support to childcare providers nationwide. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your extensive knowledge of early childhood education from anywhere. You will be instrumental in advising settings on curriculum development, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and best practices. This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned professional in early years to make a widespread impact, working flexibly and remotely to elevate childcare standards across the country, while maintaining a connection to the innovative landscape of Oxfordshire and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote consultancy services to nurseries, preschools, and childminders, focusing on enhancing quality and compliance.
• Develop and deliver online training sessions and workshops on topics such as EYFS implementation, safeguarding, and pedagogical approaches.
• Conduct virtual assessments of childcare settings and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Advise clients on curriculum design, staff development, and effective parent engagement strategies.
• Stay abreast of current trends, research, and legislative changes within the early years sector.
• Contribute to the development of online resources and best practice guides for childcare providers.

Requirements

• A relevant degree or higher-level qualification in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
• Substantial experience in senior leadership or consultancy roles within the early years sector.
• Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and other relevant early years legislation and standards.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging online training and support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency with virtual communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace).
