Remote Early Years Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Remote Early Years Consultant to provide expert advice and support to childcare providers across the UK. This fully remote role involves guiding settings on best practices in early childhood education, curriculum development, Ofsted compliance, and staff training. You will leverage your extensive experience to offer strategic insights and practical solutions, helping nurseries and other early years providers enhance their service quality and achieve outstanding outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote consultancy services to early years settings, advising on curriculum design, pedagogical approaches, and quality improvement strategies.
• Assist clients in preparing for and navigating regulatory inspections, such as Ofsted, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Develop and deliver tailored training programs and workshops for early years staff, both virtually and potentially through recorded modules.
• Conduct virtual assessments of current practices and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments, research, and policy changes within the early years sector to offer cutting-edge advice.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Significant experience in managing or leading early years settings, with a proven track record of achieving high inspection ratings.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and other relevant educational standards across the UK.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication and collaboration tools for remote working effectiveness.
