About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Early Years Consultant to provide expert advice and support to childcare providers nationwide. This role involves assessing existing practices, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance the quality of early years education and care. You will work independently from a remote location, collaborating with nursery owners, managers, and staff through virtual meetings and online platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise, drive positive change across the sector, and contribute to raising standards in early childhood development from anywhere in the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote assessments of childcare settings, evaluating curriculum delivery, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop bespoke improvement plans and provide strategic guidance to clients on enhancing childcare quality and compliance.
- Deliver virtual training sessions and workshops to early years staff on various aspects of pedagogy, management, and regulatory requirements.
- Advise clients on best practices in child development, safeguarding, and parent engagement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for clients, outlining findings and actionable steps.
- Stay abreast of the latest research, policy changes, and best practices within the early years sector.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing or leading early years settings, with a proven track record of improving quality.
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and relevant UK childcare legislation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Strong virtual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively online.
