Remote Early Years Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Early Years Consultant to provide expert advice and support to childcare providers nationwide. This role involves advising on curriculum development, Ofsted compliance, best practice implementation, and staff training. You will work independently, utilising your extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to help settings improve their quality of provision. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultancy services to nurseries and childminders via virtual platforms.
• Advise on the development and implementation of EYFS-compliant curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
• Assist clients in preparing for and achieving positive Ofsted inspections .
• Develop and deliver online training modules for early years practitioners.
• Conduct virtual quality assurance reviews and provide action plans for improvement.
• Stay abreast of current legislation, policies, and best practices in early years education.

Requirements

• Significant experience in an Early Years leadership role (e.g., Nursery Manager, Headteacher).
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted inspection requirements.
• Proven track record in improving the quality of childcare provision.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple client projects effectively.
• Relevant Level 5 or 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
