Remote Early Years Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and insightful Remote Early Years Consultant to provide strategic guidance and support to childcare providers nationwide. This is a critical role focused on enhancing the quality of early years education and care through expert advice, policy interpretation, and bespoke development plans. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current pedagogical approaches to help settings achieve excellence. Operating entirely from a remote base, this position offers the opportunity to shape childcare practices across the country, working with a diverse range of clients and contributing to the continuous advancement of the sector, making a profound impact from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive remote assessments of childcare settings' quality, compliance, and pedagogical approaches.
• Develop tailored strategic plans and recommendations for settings to improve practice, outcomes, and regulatory adherence.
• Provide expert consultancy on curriculum design, child development, safeguarding, and effective management of early years settings.
• Deliver virtual training and professional development sessions for educators and leaders.
• Stay abreast of national early years policy changes and best practices, advising clients accordingly.
• Facilitate peer learning networks and knowledge-sharing opportunities among childcare professionals remotely.

Requirements

• A postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of senior leadership or consultancy experience within the early years sector.
• Deep and current understanding of the EYFS framework, statutory requirements, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills, particularly in a virtual environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple client projects effectively from a remote location.
• Proficiency in utilizing digital collaboration tools and virtual meeting platforms.
