Remote Employment Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Employment Lawyer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role focuses on providing comprehensive legal advice and representation on all aspects of employment law to a wide range of businesses. You will manage complex employment disputes, advise on HR matters, and ensure compliance with evolving legislation. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including dismissals, discrimination, and grievances.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and other dispute resolution forums.
• Conduct internal investigations and advise on disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Provide strategic advice on HR-related legal issues, including TUPE and redundancy programs.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and best practices to provide up-to-date counsel.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in employment law .
• Proven track record in handling complex employment tribunal claims and advising on HR matters.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
