Key Responsibilities

• Analyze energy market trends , economic factors, and regulatory changes to identify trading opportunities and risks.
• Develop and refine quantitative models for forecasting energy prices and demand across various markets.
• Execute energy trades in accordance with defined strategies and risk parameters, ensuring compliance with market regulations.
• Monitor positions, P&L, and market exposures, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including risk management and operations teams, to ensure aligned strategies and operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in energy trading technologies and methodologies, recommending enhancements to current practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in energy trading , market analysis, or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong understanding of energy markets (e.g., electricity, natural gas) and derivatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
