Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms for environmental data analysis.
• Process, clean, and integrate large, diverse datasets from sources such as satellite imagery, sensor networks, and field observations.
• Create predictive models for environmental phenomena like climate change impacts, species distribution, or resource depletion.
• Visualize complex environmental data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and environmental monitoring technologies.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Environmental Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a significant focus on environmental applications.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and libraries for data manipulation, modeling, and visualization (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
