About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Scientist with a specialization in forestry and land management to join their fully remote team. This position will involve conducting in-depth environmental impact assessments, developing sustainable land use strategies, and advising on ecological conservation projects, all managed from a remote setting. You will collaborate with a dispersed team of experts, utilizing digital tools to analyze data, prepare reports, and contribute to policy development. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for forestry and land development projects.

- Prepare detailed technical reports, policy recommendations, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with remote colleagues through virtual meetings, shared platforms, and digital communication tools.
- Stay abreast of environmental legislation, scientific advancements, and best practices in forestry and conservation.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Environmental Science, Forestry, Ecology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in environmental consulting or research, with a strong focus on forestry and land management.
- Expertise in environmental modeling, data analysis, and the use of GIS software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing high-quality technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
