Remote Equipment Specialist - Installation & Maintenance

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote Equipment Specialist to join their Installation & Maintenance division, operating from Belfast . This role is fully remote, allowing you to provide critical technical expertise and support to clients without the need for physical site visits. You will be responsible for guiding clients through complex installation processes, diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues virtually, and ensuring the optimal performance of their systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical acumen and exceptional remote communication skills to make a significant impact on client success and operational efficiency from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical guidance for the setup and configuration of specialized equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation and maintenance issues using remote diagnostic tools and virtual collaboration.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for remote support procedures and best practices.
• Conduct virtual demonstrations and training sessions for clients on product features and maintenance protocols.
• Monitor equipment performance remotely and proactively address potential problems.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients requiring remote technical assistance, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a technical support, installation , or maintenance capacity, with a strong focus on remote operations.
• Proficiency in using remote access software, network troubleshooting tools, and communication platforms.
• Exceptional ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving in a virtual environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and deadlines effectively while working remotely.
• A solid understanding of our client's industry or similar technological systems is advantageous.
