About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and passionate Remote Esports Event Coordinator to manage and execute exciting online and offline esports tournaments and events. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of events, from conceptualization and budgeting to logistics, promotion, and post-event analysis. You will work closely with game publishers, esports teams, sponsors, and broadcast partners to deliver seamless and engaging experiences for players and viewers worldwide, contributing to the growth and success of the esports landscape, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a keen understanding of the esports community and a dedication to producing high-quality events, all managed from your remote workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute esports tournaments and events, including online qualifiers and live finals.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are tracked and controlled effectively.
• Coordinate with game developers, teams, players, and sponsors to ensure smooth event operations.
• Develop event schedules, match formats, and rulesets in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee event marketing and promotion, working with social media and content teams to maximize reach and engagement.
• Manage broadcast logistics, ensuring high-quality streams and a positive viewing experience for the global audience.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in event coordination or management, with a specific focus on esports or gaming events.
• Strong understanding of the esports ecosystem, including major titles, tournaments, and communities.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, logistics management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment, managing deadlines effectively.
