Remote Exploration Geologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Remote Exploration Geologist to join their forward-thinking team, contributing to the discovery of new mineral resources from a home-based office anywhere in the UK . This role involves the analysis of geological data, including core samples, assay results, and geophysical surveys, to identify and delineate potential economic deposits. You will work closely with field teams and senior geologists, providing critical insights and recommendations to guide exploration strategies. The ideal candidate is an independent, analytical thinker with excellent geological interpretation skills and a proven ability to manage projects effectively in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze geological data, including core logs, assay reports, and geophysical survey results, to identify exploration targets.
• Develop and refine geological models for prospective areas using 3D modeling software.
• Collaborate with field geologists to plan and interpret exploration programs, including drilling campaigns.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on exploration findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to the estimation of mineral resources and reserves.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure data integrity for all exploration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mineral exploration geology, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency with geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, ArcGIS).
• Strong understanding of geological mapping, core logging, and geochemical interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment .
