Exploration Geologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and skilled Exploration Geologist to join their dynamic team in Norwich, Norfolk . This role is focused on identifying and evaluating new mineral deposits through field work, data analysis, and geological modeling. You will be involved in all stages of exploration, from initial reconnaissance to detailed target definition, contributing to the company's future resource pipeline. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute geological field programs, including mapping, sampling, and core logging.
• Analyze geological data, including geochemical and geophysical surveys, to identify prospective areas.
• Develop and refine geological models and 3D interpretations of subsurface structures.
• Manage and interpret drilling programs, assessing their potential for economic mineralisation.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for exploration targets.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols during all field activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mineral exploration or a similar field.
• Proficiency with geological mapping software (e.g., ArcGIS) and 3D modeling software.
• Experience with geochemical and geophysical data interpretation.
• Strong field geology skills and the ability to work independently in various terrains.
• Excellent analytical skills and written communication abilities for reporting findings in the Norwich area and beyond.
