About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Fleet Dispatch Coordinator to manage their logistics operations from a remote location. You will be responsible for coordinating the dispatch of vehicles, optimizing routes, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers and the company. This is a key role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of logistics software. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's transport network, ensuring deliveries are on time and resources are utilized effectively, all from the convenience of your home office. This role supports operations primarily within the Norwich region and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily vehicle dispatches, assigning drivers to routes.
• Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle locations and monitor progress.
• Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support and relaying essential information.
• Manage and resolve any logistical issues or delays that arise during operations.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, driver performance, and delivery status.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a dispatch , logistics coordination, or similar role.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
