About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive forest management plans , covering silviculture, harvesting, and regeneration.

• Monitor forest health, identifying and managing threats from pests, diseases, and climate change impacts.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and conservation objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in forest management or conservation planning.
• Strong understanding of GIS software and its application in land management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UK forestry legislation and conservation policies.
• Excellent report writing and remote communication skills are essential for this role.
