You will work from a remote location, utilising digital tools and communication platforms to connect with clients, assess their needs, and connect them with appropriate resources and support services across various regions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote advice and support to clients regarding housing options, applications, and rights.
- Conduct remote needs assessments to understand individual circumstances and eligibility for support.
- Assist clients in completing housing applications and benefit claims remotely.
- Liaise with landlords, housing associations, and local authorities to find suitable accommodation solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partner organisations offering related support services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records using digital case management systems.
Requirements
- Experience in housing support, social work, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation, homelessness prevention, and tenant rights.
- Excellent remote communication skills, including proficiency with video calls, phone, and email.
- Proficient in using digital case management software and other relevant IT tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload remotely, and maintain client confidentiality.
