About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Remote HR Manager to lead their Human Resources function, operating entirely from a remote capacity. This role is critical for developing and executing HR strategies that support a dispersed workforce, focusing on employee engagement, talent management, and fostering a strong organizational culture from afar. You will oversee all HR operations, ensuring compliance and driving best practices across the company, playing a key part in the strategic direction of people operations without a fixed office base in Reading or elsewhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support business objectives for a remote workforce.
- Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
- Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment through proactive engagement and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and data protection regulations for a distributed team.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Utilize HR technology and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and HR process optimization.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in HR management, with a significant portion focused on leading remote or hybrid teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices for distributed workforces.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, performance management systems, and other HR technology platforms.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent expertise.
