Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR administrative processes, including employee records, onboarding, and offboarding for a remote workforce.
- Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers via virtual channels (email, chat, video conferencing).
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures relevant to remote working.
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, adapting policies for remote employment scenarios.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and virtual team-building activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Administrator, ideally with remote work experience.
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and common virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport virtually.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
