About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Hygiene and Sanitation Specialist to establish and uphold rigorous cleaning and sanitation standards across their various business locations. This fully remote role requires a proactive individual with a comprehensive understanding of hygiene protocols, infectious disease control, and best practices in commercial sanitation. You will be responsible for developing guidelines, training materials, and conducting remote audits to ensure compliance and maintain a healthy environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive hygiene and sanitation protocols and procedures for all operational sites.
• Create and deliver training programs (virtually) for cleaning staff and site managers on best practices and compliance.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments of cleaning standards, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in hygiene science, cleaning technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Investigate and resolve any hygiene-related incidents or complaints, recommending corrective actions.
• Manage the inventory and effective distribution of sanitation supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hygiene management, sanitation, or infection control.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfection methods, and health regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and influence others remotely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools and digital platforms for reporting and management.
