About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Hygiene Operations Manager to lead and optimise hygiene standards across their various operational sites, managing all responsibilities from a remote location. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing best practices in sanitation, managing remote teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will be crucial in maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, impacting operational efficiency and client satisfaction significantly, with a focus on areas surrounding Cardiff but managed entirely remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene and cleaning protocols across all assigned sites.
• Manage and train remote teams of cleaning staff, setting performance targets and conducting reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for hygiene-related challenges.
• Source and manage suppliers for cleaning chemicals, equipment, and consumables.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a management role within hygiene, sanitation, or facilities management.
