About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Remote Industrial Engineering Lead to guide their operational improvement efforts across multiple international sites. This is a leadership position, entirely remote, focused on driving significant advancements in efficiency, productivity, and quality within their manufacturing and distribution networks. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for industrial engineering initiatives, mentoring a team of remote engineers, and collaborating with senior management to achieve ambitious operational goals. This role demands strong leadership qualities, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of remote industrial engineers, setting project priorities and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for operational excellence, focusing on lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Oversee the design and implementation of large-scale process improvements and automation projects across global facilities.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and modeling to identify strategic opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering strategies with business objectives and drive innovation.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure accountability for operational improvements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading remote teams and managing complex, international projects.
• Expertise in lean methodologies , statistical process control (SPC), and simulation software.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and influential communication skills for virtual collaboration.
