Remote Industrial Process Engineer - Lean Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-driven Remote Industrial Process Engineer with expertise in Lean Manufacturing . This position is fully remote and focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and eliminating waste across various business units. You will analyze processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lean methodologies to drive sustainable gains in productivity, quality, and cost reduction. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while making a tangible impact on operational excellence through expert application of lean principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing and business processes to identify inefficiencies and sources of waste.
• Design, develop, and implement lean strategies, including 5S, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban systems.
• Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practice guidelines.
• Train and mentor employees on lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Measure and report on the impact of lean initiatives, demonstrating tangible results in cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and process improvements to enhance operational flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role, with a strong emphasis on lean manufacturing .
• Proven experience in applying lean tools and methodologies to achieve measurable business results.
• Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in process analysis and mapping tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive change effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
