Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to their innovative production strategies. This position focuses on the design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes from a remote setting, ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with global manufacturing sites to identify areas for improvement, implement new technologies, and drive continuous enhancement of production capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction, leveraging data analytics .
• Design and develop new manufacturing processes and optimize existing ones, ensuring scalability and adherence to best practices.
• Lead remote implementation of process changes and new technologies, collaborating closely with on-site production teams.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues remotely, providing timely and effective solutions to production challenges.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to support new product introductions and process validations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process design, optimization, and implementation.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and recommend actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage projects and collaborate with remote teams.
• Experience with simulation software and statistical process control (SPC) tools is desirable.
