Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection, for suspicious activities and potential threats.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on security tools and infrastructure.
• Assist in the development and refinement of security operational procedures and playbooks.
• Conduct regular log reviews and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security best practices are implemented across systems.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an information security operations or SOC analyst role.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and techniques.
• Understanding of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
