About the Role

You will be instrumental in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents, working closely with a distributed team of security professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of systems, applications, and networks.
• Implement and manage security controls and technologies to protect against cyber threats.
• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM and other security tools, investigating potential incidents.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of information security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance on security best practices to internal users.
• Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field; industry certifications like Security+ or CEH are advantageous.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in information security or a closely related technical role.
• Proficiency with security tools, including firewalls, antivirus software, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM platforms .
• Solid understanding of network protocols, operating system security, and common attack vectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment .
